June 20th was the date for the 4th annual BHS Memorial Ropin. Seventy-seven ropers made up 292 teams for an afternoon of team roping. We were so fortunate the Kansas weather chose to be sunny, breezy and of course a little on the warm side-but that's okay we didn't want rain on that day. Over $6,500 was put in the scholarship fund after this roping took place. Our famly is so grateful for the success each year the event has had, all of which would not be possible without the help of family, friends, volunteers and the cowboys and cowgirls competing.

Four years ago the first two Bayley Hanna Spillman scholarships were given out, this year 10 more were awarded, bringing the total to 38 scholarships over the past four years. At Christmas, four families were adopted- to hopefully make their holiday a little brighter. By awarding these scholarships and helping families at Christmas gives our family something positive to work for and to keep Bayley's memory alive.
