June 19th was the date for the 5th annual BHS Memorial Ropin. A total of 476 teams made for an afternoon of team roping. We were so fortunate the Kansas weather chose to be sunny, breezy and of course a little on the warm side-but that's okay we didn't want rain on that day. Over $8000 was put in the scholarship fund after this roping took place. Our famly is so grateful for the success each year the event has had, all of which would not be possible without the help of family, friends, volunteers and the cowboys and cowgirls competing.

Five years ago the first two Bayley Hanna Spillman scholarships were given out, this year 9 more were awarded, bringing the total to 47 scholarships over the past five years. By awarding these scholarships  gives our family something positive to work for and to keep Bayley's memory alive.
